Level Best Concrete Flooring has been busy working on this live terminal located in Daventry, Northamptonshire where we are removing damaged concrete from the external yard and replacing it with heavy duty reinforced concrete floors. Another element of the works involves the crushing on site of the concrete once it has been removed from the floors. The crushed concrete is graded to become suitable for the sub bas beneath the new slabs. This not only reduces vehicle deliveries on and off site but also reduced the carbon footprint generated whilst the operations are ongoing. Programme times are also reduced during the process as other operatives carry out the crushing and recycling of the concrete whilst another team are removing the damaged concrete at the same time creating a seamless operation.
